It is a report rich in information that will assist planning and decision-making by any person or organisation that participates in public life in Tāmaki Makaurau. It presents progress against the outcomes in the Māori Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau (2012) as a set of 44 headline indicators, each supported by detailed data, case studies, info-graphics and images.

The Māori Report is the result of a collaborations with a range of public sector and professional organisations and experts who have contributed to this report. I wish to thank them for their help and support and look forward to working together with them on solutions that unite and build healthy, prosperous and resilient Māori people and communities.
