Māori Value Reports

Ko ngā rarangi maunga o Te Wao Nui a Tīriwa, tū te ao, tū te pō

Ko ngā rarangi tangata, whakangaro

Ka pū te ruha, ka hao te rangatahi

Ki te whai ao, ki te ao mārama

Tihēi mauri ora!

We extend an invitation for you to join the Independent Māori Statutory Board for a presentation and launch of the Māori Value reports at Papakura Marae, 34 Coles Crescent, Papakura on 10th March at 10am-12pm.

Register here to attend.

The Māori value reports measure progress in Māori wellbeing in Tāmaki Makaurau, using a Te Ao Māori approach so that wellbeing is measured from a Māori perspective through Rangatiratanga, Kaitiakitanga, Wairuatanga, Manaakitanga and Whanaungatanga.

The Board’s purpose with these reports is to increase the Auckland Council and the government’s understanding of how a Māori values approach can empower and create positive change for Māori in Tāmaki Makaurau in a way that best suits us.
